MAY 15th Community Art Walk & Exhibition
Downtown LA Gallery Row Unveiling Event.
An all day exhibition of art, kids workshops, auction, and live painting.



Location:

The Old Farmers and Merchants Bank at 401 South Main Street(DOWTOWN LA) and the adjoining space at 116 West 4th Street will serve as the venue for the event. This will coincide with the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council and City of Los Angeles’s inaugural annual Gallery Row Event. RTEA plans to host this event annually at this location as part of the recurring Gallery Row street festival and exhibition.

Scedule of Events :

10am Gallery Opening
The event will open to the public with the gallery exhibition, information booths and event hosts.

11am - 4pm Workshop for Children
These workshops will bring children into contact with local artists for an hour-long session focused on the creation of individual works of art they can take home. Artists will share techniques, stories and inspiration with those in attendance.

12pm - 3pm Lunch for Children
RTEA will host lunch for those children in attendance. This will give the children an opportunity to further their discussions with the artists as well as involve their parents in the experience of their day.

3pm - 9pm Live Art Exhibition
During this portion of the event the contributing artists will each create a piece of work live in front of attendees. These works will exhibit each artist's own style and inspiration and will raise funds for RTEA during the auction phase of the event.

9pm - 10pm Auction of Live Art Works
RTEA will auction the works created during the live performance segment of the program to raise money for continuing youth endowment programs and events.

10pm Event Close
The event will close, with people moving to post event receptions and events hosted at Pete's Café on the corner of West 4th and South Main Street as well as at the Inshallah Gallery at West 3rd Street and Main Street.
